How-to Choose Hydraulic Puller

1. Measure the outer diameter of the workpiece to be dismantled, the thickness of the workpiece, and the distance of the workpiece on the shaft to be dismantled;
2. When the disassembly space allows, try to use a 3-jaw extractor to get more reliable clamping force and more uniform pulling force;
3. Use the correct size wheel puller, if you use the maximum force and the workpiece is not pulled out, please use a hydraulic wheel puller with higher tonnage;
4. The general calculation of the required pulling force is about 7-10 tons for a 1 inch (25.4mm) inside diameter workpiece to be removed, for example, 14-20 tons for a 2 inch (50.8mm) inside diameter workpiece;
