How-to Choose Hydraulic Puller
- Measure the outer diameter of the workpiece to be dismantled, the thickness of the workpiece, and the distance of the workpiece on the shaft to be dismantled;
- When the disassembly space allows, try to use a 3-jaw extractor to get more reliable clamping force and more uniform pulling force;
- Use the correct size wheel puller, if you use the maximum force and the workpiece is not pulled out, please use a hydraulic wheel puller with higher tonnage;
- The general calculation of the required pulling force is about 7-10 tons for a 1 inch (25.4mm) inside diameter workpiece to be removed, for example, 14-20 tons for a 2 inch (50.8mm) inside diameter workpiece;
